Tavelsjö AIK have long-distance skates/poles for rent to everyone who wants to test what it is like to ride.

The skate rental is open all winter as long as the ice rink is open.

The booking of skates and poles is only handled here on this page.

The skates are available for rent at a small cabin close to Root at Sundlingska Gården Satuderay and Sunday between 10.30 - 12.30 and cost SEK 150 / pair / day. Note that the skates need to be booked in advance as there are only a limited number.

You can leave your skates whenever you want in a small hole in the rental cabin.

To use the skates, you need to wear a sturdy boot so that the foot is reasonably stiff. The skate is fastened with two buckles that can be adjusted to fit the boot.

There are a total of 30 pairs of skates that are in three different lengths and are suitable for different sizes of boots. There is also 13 helmets that you can borrow and some pikes for rent.

Kicks can be borrowed free of charge at Sundlingska gården or at the car park at ICA Matboa. Remember to leave the kicks where you took them.
